Lori, the founder of Let’s Play School Preschool and Childcare, has always been driven by a lifelong dream of teaching. After earning her teaching degree from OSU and starting her career in a middle school, her path took a delightful turn when her own son began preschool. This experience revealed her true calling in early childhood education. With 22 years of teaching experience, Lori brings a wealth of knowledge and a heartfelt dedication to fostering young minds, making Let’s Play School a nurturing environment where children thrive.

Our Programs
Our unique approach to early learning
We focus on artistic and educational activities that promote thinking, problem solving, friendship and community. Join us for the 2026 – 2027 school year to experience a nurturing environment where happy children develop happy hearts and mind. We offer a range of classes- depending on the age of the child. Age requirements as of September 1, 2026
Two-Day 3's
Students must be 3 years old or older. Three year olds are busy and curious. Our goal is to take this curiosity and guide them into a world of learning. This class focus’s on social interaction, language development and fine and gross motor skills. This is a great class for a child’s first time in a classroom. Five Day 4's
Students must be 3.5 years or older. This class is for the older three year olds that are comfortable in a classroom and ready for three days. The focus of the class is social and language development. We introduce pre-reading and math concepts. Classes meet on Monday- Friday 8:30-12:30
Three and 5 Day Pre-K
Students must be 4 years or older. Four year olds are ready to be independent and more aware of the world around them. The Pre-K class allows children to expand skills, independent decision making, beginning reading, writing, science and math concepts. This class will prepare children for Kindergarten. Classes meet M-F or M-W-F
Kindergarten
Students must be 5 years old by September 1, 2026. Our curriculum aligns with Oregon’s Common Core Standards. We teach in a creative curriculum.
